One of the things I care about is small businesses, and supporting people in doing what they love, but I totally understand if you want to avoid consumerism in any forms, so you can change your settings to opt out of Five Star Fridays without opting out of the entire newsletter. Easy!

~ some personal news ~ ya gal got engaged. And the ring is a wonder, crafted by the brilliant Sabira from SKEN Studios. This is a TWO PRONGED ATTACK, because I obviously didn’t have loads to do with the process

- so you’ve got a guest appearance here from my partner Rich.

When we started to discuss being engaged, I knew I wanted something that felt like *me* - and I knew Sabira was the woman for the job. I love her style and that she doesn’t take herself too seriously, whilst taking the quality and care of her items exceptionally seriously. The actual ring itself is, predictably, my favourite thing ever; solid both in the heft and “nailed it mate” sense.

And if you wanna know more about the actual process:

Sabira was really nice, and helped send over everything I needed to know without overwhelming me, because obviously I had no idea what I was doing. She was always more than happy to answer any questions I had.
