Well of course, credit where credit is due! Always keen to connect anyone I can with people who deserve it ☺️ I know, when I read it I made a beeline (sorry, couldn’t resist) to finding out more! What a job title
Thanks for sharing this, Ellie! I had no idea that honey sommelier was a job, and now I do. I find it so interesting to hear about other women's career journeys and although it makes me angry that women are often unable to return to their work flexibly after having children, I'm pleased that Helen ended up using this situation to her advantage and finding a different path.
I will also check out Lucy's thread/page as that sounds right up my street!
Thanks Hannah! Absolutely, it shouldn’t have to be this way -- but I’m so grateful to Helen for sharing her journey and happy that this came out of it. Oh she’s brilliant, I have the book too!
Thanks Hayley! Me too -- local honey is also supposed to be good for combatting hayfever I think, and as a north London hayfever sufferer I think this might be the key!
I can’t tell you how lovely this was to wake up to. Firstly, love that a collaboration is out in the wild.
Secondly, you didn’t just tag me so I would see it but even gave a double Hype with links as well.
I love that we didn’t even know that honey sommelier was a thing. What a great piece to share with the world. 🍯

I love Lucy's insta thread - hoping to make some connections on there too!
I’ve subscribed and am looking forward to getting stuck in!

this is so very cool. I have friends who are beekeepers here in MA and we sponsored a hive, so we get fresh honey from that hive!
